Overseas wholesale flow(for Singapore)

  • Purchasing products from Japan and around the world

Upon receiving a request from a customer in Singapore, Okamura Trading Singapore's representative will directly negotiate with the Japanese supplier to determine the terms and conditions of the transaction.
After the terms and conditions are determined, Okamura Trading Singapore's Tokyo Business Division will handle the ordering process in Japan and various procedures related to exporting to Singapore.
One of our strengths is that Okamura Trading Singapore is able to provide integrated services for procurement of designated foodstuffs, including the various operations required in Japan.

  • Imports in Singapore

Ships loaded with goods from Japan and other countries arrive at the port. In Singapore, we purchase approximately 10 times a month.
Each ship usually carries one or two containers. Tuna, for example, which requires storage at ultra-low temperatures, is brought in 40-foot ultra-low temperature containers.
Containers loaded with goods are brought from the port to the company warehouse. It takes about 20 minutes by car from the port to the company warehouse. At the company warehouse, after checking the product data and the actual product, the product is stored in the warehouse.

  • Storage of goods

Normal inventory is stored in frozen warehouses (-18°C to -20°C). Tuna and one frozen salmon need to be stored at -40℃ or below, so they are stored in ultra-low temperature containers (about -60℃) instead of normal frozen warehouses. Okamura Trading Singapore has several ultra-low temperature containers to meet the needs of our customers.

  • Goods outgoing from the warehouse

Picking is done on a first-in, first-out basis according to the delivery list. The pickers can pick in cartons, packs, or other units.
Picked goods are loaded onto reefer trucks while maintaining the highest quality, and then shipped out.

  • Product Delivery

We deliver the products to each customer's store (e.g., Japanese restaurants and supermarkets in shopping malls) with our own trucks.
