Overseas Processing Business

The overseas processing business sells processed marine products processed at overseas plants to domestic and overseas customers.
Our main products are salmon sushi pieces for raw consumption, baked fish, and boiled fish (salmon and mackerel).
In addition to purchasing raw materials from our aquaculture business,
our purchasing staff procures high-quality raw materials themselves from around the world.
Currently, our overseas processing business has processing bases
in Myanmar (Okamura Trading Myanmar, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company) and Vietnam (contractor).

Myanmar's first raw food plant with strict quality and hygiene control

The Myanmar subsidiary was established in 2017 as the country's first raw food plant in the Tirawa Special Economic Zone, where infrastructure is well developed. It has introduced the latest technology for quality control, and a Japanese expatriate has built up sanitary and other controls from scratch, and is now an important processing base for our group.

In 2003, we began a business alliance with a cooperative factory in Vietnam, where we dispatched our production manager at the time to impart know-how on the production of processed marine products for the Japanese market, and we have built a strong relationship up to the present. In Vietnam, Okamura Trading Vietnam is located on the premises of the cooperating factory for production management.

Our Business
