Domestic Processing Business

Our domestic processing business handles the processing and sale of fish roe products (ikura, masago, and kazunoko).
This business has been ongoing since our company's founding in 1971.
Through our fish farming techniques and processing/preservation technologies,
we deliver safe and reliable products that meet global customer needs worldwide.

  • Processing of salmon roe, musuko, herring roe, and other products in Aomori Prefecture

    The processing bases are the No. 1 and No. 2 Plants, which are attached to the Company's Aomori Head Office.
    The first factory mainly manufactures herring roe products. During the Aomori salmon landing season from April to June, primary processing of Aomori salmon is also carried out here. The second factory processes salmon roe and musuko. In addition to Danish salmon trout roe farmed by subsidiary Musholm, North American trout roe and red salmon roe are used as raw materials.

  • Sold to mass merchandisers and other retailers in Japan
    Exports to overseas are also increasing

    Sales are mainly to domestic supermarkets and restaurants, but recently exports to major conveyor-belt sushi chains in the Asian region have been increasing. In order to support overseas sales, our factory has acquired and registered the following certifications

    ・Export facility registration for Vietnam
    ・Export facility registration for Russia
    ・Export facility registration for India
